This is an elegant yet powerful medium-bodied dry red wine, with a complex aroma of red berries, rosehip and raspberry. The palate is characterised by the same intense fruitiness, accompanied by a gentle warmth from the alcohol and rounded out by a dynamic acidity and tight structure that make this a formidable vintage.
Food Pairing Recommendation
It goes very well with duck dishes like a crispy Peking duck or duck with plum sauce. You can also serve it alongside roast lamb prepared with rosemary, or with aged ham for a memorable experience.

The family-owned Gál Tibor winery is located in the picturesque wine region of Eger. They are dedicated is to create memorable wines which reflect the characteristics of this special area and showcase its unique terroir. As a result, they only cultivate grape varieties which are perfectly suited to the micro-climate of Eger, allowing the award-winner winemakers to create liquid works of art which represent the best of Hungarian wine.
