A complex wine, with toasted nuts, green apples lime peel, as well as some dried fruits and floral notes. Oily, warm and rich, with punchy acidity that lifts the wine. Elegant and long.

Food pairing recommendation: A harmonious and versatile drink that goes very well with poultry and fish as well as a creamy pasta dish. Pair it with goat cheeses such as St. Helen's or Picodon to bring out the best in both.

The multi-generational Frittmann winery is run by brothers János and István, who carry on the family winemaking tradition in the Great Plain in southern Hungary. They have achieved the two most prestigious national wine recognitions, becoming Winemaker of the Year in 2007 and Winery of the Year in 2015. Focusing their production on the highest-quality indigenous grape varieties of the area, they also offer wines made from international varieties.
