Tasting Notes

A medium-bodied dry red wine from the world-renowned wine region of Szekszárd, showcasing the exciting acids of the Blaufränkisch grapes, as well as the inherent lightness characteristic of this unique terroir. A fruity and clear nose with hints of violet flowers. Palate rich in tannins, with aromas of black cherry and rum. With a tight structure and a long finish, this is a refreshing choice.

Food Pairing Recommendation

It goes very well with roast chicken, duck and pheasant, as well as with grilled vegetables. Pair it with semi-hard cheese like Cheddar, Pecorino or Red Leicester for a memorable experience.

About the Producer

The Eszterbauer winery is now run by the tenth generation of the family, with a deep-seated respect for traditions forming the bedrock of their approach. They are creating wines which are representative of the Szekszárd wine region, with centuries of care and expertise condensed into each precious drop.
