Vintage: The winter was quite mild and spring came early. Summer brought sufficient precipitation and sunshine, however the end of August and the whole of September was very rainy. As a result, wines from this vintage have cool characteristics with vivid acids but are very complex and rich in the mouth.

2017 Hungarian National Wine Excellency Award
A noble late harvest wine made from traditional Tokaj varieties. Pale golden hue. The nose is reminiscent of candied apricots, orange peel and herbs. The lush palate is dominated by candied fruits and honey. The residual sugar and the velvety texture make this an opulent wine. Mouth-watering acidity complements the exciting structure. A lingering finish exhibiting Christmas spices and grapefruit. Balanced and beautifully integrated.
Food paring suggestions
This sweet wine is very drinkable on its own, but it is also an excellent dessert wine. It is the ideal pairing for cheese boards and it also brings out the best from goose liver.
