Tasting Notes

A vineyard selection Hungarian dry white wine, this is a furmint from the famous Lőcse cru of Tokaj. Bright lemon yellow, with a nose of stone fruits, beautifully rounded out by the toasty aroma of oak ageing. This substantial and complex wine reveals notes of green apples and peaches, complemented by vanilla and Christmas spices. A distinct minerality and mouth-watering acidity combine to make this single vineyard Furmint a really special offering, a big and bold wine approaching full maturity, with a lingering finish.

Food Pairing Recommendation

Best served with slow cooked stews and ragouts.
