Balsamic Plum Chutney with Truffles
This delicious chutney is made from small, almost round Hungarian plums, famous for their fine taste. Plums are combined with truffles and a little balsamic vinegar with truffles to create a uniquely thick sauce which can be used alone or to flavour foods such as wild game or other savory and sweet dishes. It can also be used as a spread on your breakfast toast, or with dark chocolate whips, in creams and as a cake or ravioli filling. Alternatively, it can be used to thicken fruit soups, or as a condiment with grilled or fried cheese.
