Produced from hand-picked, organically cultivated grapes and with a biodynamic approach to winemaking, this Kékfrankos is an elegant and perfectly balanced vintage, representing a pure and authentic taste of the Villány region.
Deep ruby-purple colour. Smoky, earthy nose with an aroma of cherries and dark berries in the background, and a hint of black pepper. Made in an elegant, cool-climate style, the wine is bone dry and has high acidity, but a soft and velvety mouthfeel. The palate is dominated by sour cherries, mushrooms, and cedar wood. Youthful, fine tannins and smoky, spicy finish with a bite; this bottle will only get better with age. An intriguing, serious wine for deep conversations.
Food pairing
Thanks to its high acidity, this wine is perfect to go with heavy, hearty dishes such as steaks, sausages and BBQ meats. It also cuts beautifully through spicy dishes, making it the ideal pairing for hot Asian curries like a vindaloo or Sichuan chicken.
