Produced from hand-picked, organically cultivated grapes and with a biodynamic approach to winemaking, this Kékfrankos is an elegant and perfectly balanced vintage, representing a pure and authentic taste of the Villány region.
Deep ruby-purple colour. Smoky, earthy nose with an aroma of cherries and dark berries in the background, and a hint of black pepper. Made in an elegant, cool-climate style, the wine is bone dry and has high acidity, but a soft and velvety mouthfeel. The palate is dominated by sour cherries, mushrooms, and cedar wood. Youthful, fine tannins and smoky, spicy finish with a bite; this bottle will only get better with age. An intriguing, serious wine for deep conversations.
Thanks to its high acidity, this wine is perfect to go with heavy, hearty dishes such as steaks, sausages and BBQ meats. It also cuts beautifully through spicy dishes, making it the ideal pairing for hot Asian curries like a vindaloo or Sichuan chicken.

The Wassmann Winery is based in a quaint village in southern Hungary. The pristine countryside provides an ideal location for cultivating native Hungarian grape varieties and creating premium quality biodynamic wines. Expats Susann and Ralf combine their love of the environment and love of fine wine to grow their grapes in a fully natural manner. They treat their vineyard as a living and breathing ecosystem, looking out for the entire flora and fauna of the area to maintain its organic balance. As a result, nature’s perfection shines through in every bottle.
Feel yourself transported a continent away by these delicious Bombay potatoes featuring a Hungarian twist, this aromatic and fragrant dish encapsulates all that is great about fusion cuisine. Using simple ingredients and quick to prepare, it makes a great side for curry dishes but can easily be the main course on its own as well.
Goulash (Gulyas) is the most famous Hungarian dish in the world and one of the country's national dishes. This is a very traditional beef goulash recipe made with simple ingredients like meat, peppers and root vegetables elevated to perfection by the use of Hungary’s most famous spice: paprika.
