A vineyard selection organic Welschriesling wine from hand-picked grapes cultivated on the limestone soil of Nivegy Valley. There is an appealing clear, bright yellow-green hue and attractive aromas of peach and mango on the nose with smoky notes. This award-winning vintage is a dynamic white wine, as the vibrant acidity combines with the chalky terroir. It is fresh and mineral on the palate, with notes of pears and white flowers, ending in a long finish with a touch of honeyed sweetness
A great match for smoked pork, poultry, sea bass and pasta, as well as smoked cheese like a traditional Parenica.

Dobosi Winery,Balaton Wine Region - Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)
The Dobosi family started cultivating grapevines in 1721. With the tradition of winemaking passing from father to son, you can now taste 300 years of expertise. The family works 26.5 hectares in the picturesque Nivegy Valley just north of Lake Balaton, selectively hand-harvesting the ripe fruit. All of their grapes are organically grown, and they only use natural methods in the vinification process. Made with native grape varieties uniquely suited to the local soil and microclimate, each bottle of Dobosi wine captures the essence of the sunny Balaton Uplands.
