What is Linden Honey?

Linden tree honey is a rare variety collected by bees from the fragrant flowers of lime blossoms. It is naturally sweet with a delicious herbal taste, as recognised by the Great Taste Awards, where it was given the maximum three stars, making it one of the best honeys.

Once crystallised, linden honey's buttery consistency makes it easy to spread on toast or layer on cakes, while you can combine it with mustard to make a delicious marinade for chicken. Mix it into Greek yoghurt to allow its range of flavours to flourish or drizzle it over a fruit salad or ice cream for a delightful citrus twist.

Linden tree honey is naturally rich in pollen, vitamins, especially B1 and a range of amino acids. Its potent antiseptic properties make it a popular choice for alleviating the symptoms of colds and sore throats.
