A superior quality Bull's Blood from Eger, this award-winning red wine is everything a great Bikavér should be.
Deep and complex nose with aromas of red cherry, red berries and a hint of liquorice root. Savoury style with notes of ripe bramble and leafy black fruits complemented by oak, chocolate and sweet smoked spice. Soft, ripe tannins and fine acidity set this wine up perfectly for food pairing and ageing if you can wait.

Egri Csillag is a recent innovation from the Eger wine region in northern Hungary, as a white sister wine to the famed red blend, Egri Bikavér (Bull's Blood).
The nose on this Egri cuvée boasts orchard fruit, citrus, honey and delectable mineral notes. The palate continues with pear, apple, peach and the addition of grapefruit. Medium-bodied with fine acidity, culminating in a strong mineral finish.
