Holloháza porcelain is one of the oldest porcelain manufacturers in Europe, and it is the oldest in Hungary, dating back to 1777. The factory is still located on the original site in rural North-eastern Hungary, where it provides stable employment in one of the poorest parts of the country.

Starting from the 1960s, young and talented artists have led new product development, establishing Holloházi Porcelain as an important site for Hungarian and even the European art scene.
